Project 02: Loft Apartment

Sophomore Fall 2021

The design approach for this loft apartment was to create a multi-function space that was stylish yet spacious. Unique light grey hardwood floors run throughout the apartment and a light monochromatic col or scheme creates a light airy environment. The light wood accents throughout the apartment create some warmth and texture within the space. The large quartz island in the kitchen doubles as a dining room table that can seat up to 4 people. The large windows in the kitchen create a light and bright feel to the room while providing stunning views of the surrounding area. Lower Level Plan The living room is located at the back of the unit on the main floor to provide some privacy and seclusion from the front entry. A reading nook tucked underneath the stairs provides another space for one to focus or spend some time reading. Up the stairs, there is a large bedroom and full bathroom. A dedicated office space is also in the bedroom and continues the design from the main floor.
